• The CSH-M1 segmented cage plate is designed to build removable cage segments; • M6 through-holes are compatible with Ø6 mm stainless steel cage rods; • Flexure cam-lock design enables quick attachment and removal of cage segments; • SM1 (1.035"-40) internal threads are compatible with SM1 lens tubes; • Includes two CSK3 standard retaining rings;
Use the CSH-M1 plate to create a removable cage segment interface. Pass two cage rods completely through the plate’s through-holes, and tighten the 4-40 side screws using a 1.5 mm hex wrench. The flexure mechanism locks onto the rods. Tighten the screws to secure all flexure clamps.
Note: The cage rods for the removable segment must be long enough to fit into the flexure clamps of the outer CSH-M1 plates.
CSD-M1 Snap-In Cage Plate
• The CSD-M1 snap-in cage plate mounts Ø1 inch optical elements; • Equipped with flexure locks to securely attach to M6 cage rods; • Mounts to rods diagonally, not on adjacent rods; • Uses 2 mm cap-head screws tightened via hex wrench to secure into the flexure clamps; • Two nylon-tipped setscrews on the top surface provide three-point optical element holding; • Includes a PTFE (Teflon) washer;
The snap-in cage plate allows quick insertion/removal of Ø1" optics in an assembled 30 mm cage system. The plate grips diagonal M6 cage rods rather than adjacent ones. To install, identify the correct diagonal rod pair, slide the plate between them, press it into place, then use a 5/64" (2.0 mm) hex wrench (not included) to tighten the cap-head screws within the flexure clamps.
